The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review on July 09, 2021, concerning the dumping of certain flat hot‑rolled carbon and alloy steel sheet and strip originating in or exported from Brazil, China and Ukraine and the subsidizing of certain flat hot‑rolled carbon and alloy steel sheet and strip originating in or exported from India.
At the same time the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated an expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiry of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and/or subsidizing of the subject goods. A decision is expected no later than December 6, 2021.
