After selecting a shipment for inspection, CBP chose to seize a shipment of jewelry after determining that it was a copyrighted design. Last year, CBP seized more than 1.2 billion dollars in counterfeit goods. This shows CBP’s continuing effort to enforce intellectual property rights.
