CBP Publishes “What Every Member of the Trade Community Should Know: Reasonable Care”

US Customs updated their Informed Compliance Publication covering “Reasonable Care.”  Not only does this publication cover topics such as merchandise description and classification, but it also covers forced labour, which is a focal point of the Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 (TFTEA).  There is also an article on the CBP website regarding the newly passed forced labor regulations.  We recommend that this ‘Checklist for Compliance’ and CBP article are read by the stakeholders in your supply chain.
