Traditionally, US Customs would stamp the paper CF7501 Entry that shows the VIN number to certify importation. Â This process will remain in effect even with the changes that took place with ACE implementation.
Please note that the US Customs stamped entry summary (CF7501) does not denote certification of compliance with any other government agency statutes and regulations. Â Also, CBP will not stamp other forms such as the HS-7 or the 3520-1.
