This week, CBP announced that all entry liquidations will be handled in ACE starting October 29th.  As the importer of record, this impacts when your entries are deemed ‘finalized’ in US Customs system.  The change directly impacts Temporary Import Bond (TIB) Extensions as well as correction filing dates.  No longer will CBP issue paper notifications, rather they will be updating the entries electronically.  This will allow the trade community to standardize internal processes for monitoring.
