The Apparel, Footwear, and Textiles (AFT) Center for Excellence and Expertise at CBP opened this week in San Francisco. The main focus of this center is to centralize the import and revenue activities for this industry at CBP. There are more than 67,000 AFT importers in the US! This will also aid in increasing the consistency across the 300 ports of entry.
