The purpose of this document is to provide CBSA Trade Chain Partners (TCPs) with an understanding of the algorithm and formulas used to calculate Duties and Taxes in the CARM system, which is leveraged by EDI and Application Program Interface (API) CAD submissions, as well as the Duties and Taxes Calculator API interface and within the CARM Client Portal (CCP).
