Canadian Cattle Feed Brokerage pleads Guilty

A cattle feed brokerage and manufacturing company has plead guilty on two counts of illegally importing medicated cattle feed. One felony count was for making false statements to US Customs and Border Protection officials and one count was for causing a cattle feed to be introduced at a higher concentration than allowed by the FDA. The company has agreed to pay a $80,000 fine and be on probation for one year. Final sentencing has not yet been approved.
