Representative Mike Bost from Illinois introduced legislation that House Ways and Means Chairman Paul Ryan is hoping to attach to the Customs Reauthorization Bill. This attachment bill will allow the commerce Department to impose higher antidumping and countervailing duty rates on non-compliant US Exporters. This bill is supported by a bipartisan group of legislators.
