The US Department of Agriculture’s APHIS branch is set to begin enforcement of the Lacey Act Phase VII beginning on December 1st, 2024. This phase includes all remaining plant product containing HTS codes that are not 100% composite materials.
Merchandise included in Phase VII is incredibly broad including items as varied as industrial/medical plants, hand tools, and footwear.
