APHIS moves Cut Flowers and Greenery Import Permits to eFile!

The Animal Plant Health Inspection Agency’s (APHIS) Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) division moved more import permits to a new online permitting system named ‘eFile.’ This webpage offers a simple way to apply for and receive import permits for the following commodities:

  • Fruits & vegetables (fresh, dried, or frozen) – New!
  • Cut flowers and greenery – New!
  • Sugarcane and sugarcane products – New!
  • Seeds, nuts, and grains
  • Handicrafts
  • Hay, straw, and fiber
  • Cotton and cotton products
  • Herbal teas, extracts and oils

The ‘eFile’ system also allows users to renew, amend, and cancel permits that have been issued in APHIS within that system. Moving forward, APHIS will continue to move additional commodities to this system.
