APHIS Core Message Set Update for Bouquets

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced in CSMS #46278734 that there have been changes to the requirements for the reporting of Core information on flower bouquets.

Previously, APHIS Core required that the quantities of bouquets and bunches were reported with each type of flower on a separate data line. Now, this requirement is optional. The mandatory requirement of stem count for each flower type will remain mandatory. This change will be implemented in U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) single window system on March 20th, 2021.
