Notice of initiation of expiry review investigation – Stainless steel sinks

On November 28, 2022, the Canadian International Trade (CITT) initiated an expiry review to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing of certain stainless-steel sinks from the People’s Republic of China.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine by April 27, 2023 if there is a likelihood of continued or resumed dumping.

The CITT will determine on October 04, 2023 in the event of a positive determination by the CBSA.

Notice of normal value review – Steel piling pipe

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has today initiated a normal value review (review) to establish the normal values, export prices and amount of subsidy applicable to certain steel piling pipe (piling pipe) exported to Canada from the People’s Republic of China (China) by Coronet Group Suzhou Co., Ltd.

Notice of normal value review – Carbon Steel Fasteners

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) concluded a normal value review (review) to determine normal values and export prices of certain carbon steel fasteners (fasteners) exported to Canada from the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei) by Newfast Co., Ltd. (Newfast).

Normal values for future shipments of fasteners have been determined for Newfast. These normal values are effective November 18, 2022.

The normal values and export prices determined as a result of this review may be applied to any requests for re-determination of importations of subject goods that have not been processed prior to the conclusion of this review, regardless of the date that the requests were received. The normal values and export prices determined as a result of this review may be applied retroactively where the prescribed conditions are met.
