Concrete Reinforcing Bar – Preliminary Determination – Statement of Reasons
On January 3, 2017, as a result of the CBSA’s preliminary investigation the CBSA made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from Belarus, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Portugal and Spain.
On January 3, 2017, provisional duty was imposed on imports of goods that are of the same description as any goods to which the preliminary determination applies, and that are released during the period commencing on the day the preliminary determination was made and ending on the earlier of the day on which the CBSA causes the investigation to be terminated or the day the CITT makes an order or finding.
