On April 3, 2017, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a final determination of dumping with respect to certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from the Republic of Belarus (Belarus), Chinese Taipei, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China (Hong Kong), Japan, the Portuguese Republic (Portugal) and the Kingdom of Spain (Spain) (subject goods).

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) is continuing its inquiry into the question of injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by May 3, 2017.
