Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet -Â Initiation of Investigation (Statement of Reasons)
The Canada Border Services Agency initiated an investigation on July 26, 2018 respecting the alleged injurious dumping of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from China, the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), India and South Korea.
Interested parties are invited to file written submissions presenting facts, arguments, and evidence that they feel are relevant to the alleged dumping. Written submissions should be forwarded to the attention of the SIMA Registry and Disclosure Unit. To be given consideration in this phase of the investigation, all information should be received by the CBSA by September 4, 2018.
Certain Sucker Rods -Â Notice of Preliminary Determinations
On August 16, 2018, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidizing with respect to certain sucker rods from China.
The subject goods are usually classified under the following tariff classification number (Note that the tariff classification number is for convenience of reference only. Refer to the product definition for authoritative details regarding the subject goods).

Provisional duties will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after August 16, 2018.
For importations of subject goods for which the exporter has not been issued a specific rate, the rate of anti-dumping duty is equal to 305.10%
For importations of subject goods for which the exporter has not been issued a specific rate, the rate of countervailing duty is equal to 144.3%
