Certain Gypsum Board -Â Notice of Conclusion of Re-Investigation
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has concluded a re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices respecting certain gypsum board originating in or exported from the United States of America, imported into Canada for use or consumption in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories (Western Canada), in accordance with the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA).
The product definitions as well as additional product information and the applicable tariff classification numbers of the goods subject to the CITT’s findings are contained in Appendix 1 (subject goods).
Specific normal values for future shipments of certain gypsum board have been determined for all exporters that submitted a complete response to the Dumping RFI, to the Supplemental RFIs and for whom the desk and/or on-site verification was considered reliable.
Sucker Rods – Preliminary Injury Inquiry
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal, conducted a preliminary injury inquiry concerning certain sucker rods originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, and has determined there is sufficient evidence that the dumping and subsidizing of certain sucker rods have caused or is threatening to cause injury to domestic industry.
Steel Piling Pipe – Expiry Review
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has completed its expiry review concerning certain carbon and allow steel pipes originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, and hereby continues its finding in respect of the aforementioned goods.
