The following is available on the Canadian International Trade Tribunal website.
[On January 6, 2016] the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (the Tribunal) found that the dumping and subsidizing of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate, originating in or exported from the Republic of India and the Russian Federation have not caused and are not threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry. Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore not be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainant in this case was Essar Steel Algoma Inc. of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
The Tribunal will issue the reasons for its finding on January 21, 2016.
