Heavy Plate – Inquiry
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT conducted an inquiry to determine whether the dumping of certain hot‑rolled carbon steel plate and high strength low-alloy steel plate, not further manufactured than hot‑rolled, heat-treated or not, in cut lengths, in widths greater than 72 inches (+/‑ 1,829 mm) to 152 inches (+/‑ 3,860 mm) inclusive, and thicknesses from 0.375 inches (+/‑ 9.525 mm) up to and including 4.5 inches (+/‑ 114.3 mm) (with all dimensions being plus or minus allowable tolerances contained in the applicable standards), originating in or exported from the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen, and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), the Federal Republic of Germany (Germany) and the Republic of Turkey (Turkey) (the subject goods), but excluding:
- plate in coil form, and
- plate having a rolled, raised figure at regular intervals on the surface (also known as floor plate),
has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury.
For greater certainty, the subject goods include steel plate which contains alloys greater than required by recognized industry standards, provided the steel does not meet recognized industry standards for an alloy-grade steel plate.

Steel Grating – Notice of Expiry of Order
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) hereby gives notice, the dumping and subsidizing of carbon steel bar grating and alloy steel bar grating consisting of load-bearing pieces and cross pieces, produced as standard grating or heavy-duty grating, in panel form, whether galvanized, painted, coated, clad or plated, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China (the subject goods), is scheduled to expire on April 17, 2021, unless the Tribunal has initiated an expiry review.
Interested firms, organizations, persons or governments wishing to make submissions on whether an expiry review is warranted must file the Form I – Notice of participation with the Tribunal on or before February 22, 2021. Each counsel who intends to represent a party in these proceedings must also file the Form II – Notice of representation, as well as the Form III – Declaration and undertaking, with the Tribunal on or before February 22, 2021…

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) terminated the dumping investigation in respect of certain decorative and other non‑structural plywood originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China by Celtic Co., Ltd., Linyi Evergreen Wood Co., Ltd., Linyi Huasheng Yongbin Wood Co., Ltd., Pingyi Jinniu Wood Co., Ltd., Pizhou Jiangshan Wood Co., Ltd., Shandong Good Wood Imp. and Exp. Co., Ltd., and Xuzhou Shengping Imp and Exp Co., Ltd. S
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) terminated the subsidy investigation in respect of certain decorative and other non‑structural plywood originating in or exported from China by Celtic Co., Ltd., Linyi Evergreen Wood Co., Ltd., Linyi Huasheng Yongbin Wood Co., Ltd., Linyi Jiahe Wood Industry Co., Ltd., Pingyi Jinniu Wood Co., Ltd., Pizhou Jiangshan Wood Co., Ltd., Shandong Good Wood Imp. and Exp. Co. Ltd., and Xuzhou Shengping Imp and Exp Co., Ltd.
On the same date, the Canada Border Services Agency made final determinations respecting the dumping and subsiding of certain decorative and other non‑structural plywood originating in or exported from China, with respect to exporters for which the investigations have not been terminated.

Concrete Reinforcing Bar, Notice of Commencement of Inquiry
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting certain concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.
Provisional duties will now be payable on the subject goods from Algeria, Egypt, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam that are released from the CBSA on or after February 4, 2021.
