ADD/CVD Scope Determination – Aluminum Extrusions from 14 Countries

On May 7th, 2024 The Department of Commerce published a preliminary determination in antidumping duty (ADD) investigations on aluminum extrusions.

The 14 countries affected include: China, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Türkiye, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam. This scope covers various aluminum extrusion products such as: specific articles, components, and subassemblies.

Summary of the scope includes: revisions to previous scope, extensive list of new exclusions, and rulings on China produced products. Specific products may still require additional information before determination.

We encourage importers to review their current and future products against the updated scope descriptions.

Commerce is opening the record to allow time for additional comments and determinations.

The deadline to submit additional comments and request a determination on whether specific products fall within the scope of the investigation is 5:00 pm EDT on May 22, 2024.
