ACE Portal Changes Coming on February 20

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is modernizing the ACE Portal and has issued CSMS #51025741 regarding the same. The CSMS message includes information concerning the first phase of the ACE Portal Modernization as well as instructions to create a modernized ACE Portal account. CBP strongly encourages ACE Portal users to log in to the modernized ACE Portal before February 20, 2022.

See below excerpt from the CSMS message for CBP’s aforementioned recommendation and instructions:

“To access the modernized ACE Portal, users must first create a modernized ACE Portal account.  As part of this process, users will complete a one-time sync of existing ACE Portal access by entering their legacy ACE Portal username and password. For more information on this process, please review the ACE Portal Modernization Training Resources

ACE Portal users are strongly encouraged to log in to the modernized ACE Portal before February 20, 2022.

Beginning February 20, users will no longer be able to log in from the legacy ACE Portal login page. At that time, the legacy login page will redirect users to the modernized ACE Portal.  While users may continue to log in via the legacy ACE Portal login page until February 20, users are still encouraged to log in to the modernized portal before February 20 to avoid potential delays in any required account support resulting from a high volume of support requests.

CBP suggests using Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome to access all features of the modernized ACE Portal.

CBP will conduct an ACE Portal Modernization Deployment Support Call for trade users on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2 p.m. ET. Please join the meeting using this meeting link. Participants are encouraged to join at the start of the call when TTO will provide a brief deployment status update. A question-and-answer segment will follow. Calls may end early if all questions have been addressed.

ACE users who need assistance logging in to the modernized ACE Portal or resetting passwords should contact the ACE Account Service Desk (ASD) at 866.530.4172 or ACE.Support@cbp.dhs.gov

For more information, please visit the ACE Portal Modernization information webpage, which includes the Quick Reference Guide.”
